Climate action report

Vision

We want to see Lockleaze experience the benefits enjoyed by residents elsewhere in the city without it costing the earth. This climate action plan is not the end, but the beginning of our journey and hopefully a foundation: a starting point for more community action.

Through co-production and community led climate action the project aims to contribute to three significant impacts:

1. A reduced risk of catastrophic climate change;

2. A just and inclusive transition to carbon neutrality;

3. Supporting wider community needs and priorities through co-production

Through project delivery, opportunities that co-benefit our climate and residents of Lockleaze will be created, including:

1. Improved health and well-being

2. Economic opportunity

3. Resilience and social cohesion

4. Increased biodiversity
