How was our Women Only Wellbeing Walk?
It was another beautiful Spring day when we set out to explore the fields and woods of Stoke Park. We were very happy to find the goats busily eating around the gun emplacements of Purdown Percy and to see the views across Bristol as far as Bath and Dyrham Park.
We walked steadily so that everyone was happy with the pace and with time to enjoy the clear air, the sculptures, the fields of buttercups and the birdsong.
We felt safe, enjoyed that it was a women only walk and learnt so much along the way as well - as meeting new people that we are going to have as walking buddies again next week.
"So much has changed since I was last here!"
"Delightful walk - very informative and fun at an easy pace for my mobility"
Our next wellbeing walk is on Wednesday 4 June, and we’ll be exploring the Field Stories Sculpture Trail as well as wildlife habitats created by Lockleaze residents with Really Wild Lockleaze- poster below,
We see six women walking from behind. They are having conversations in pairs and walking through a park with lots of buttercups, trees and blue sky.
