Ideas Feast - The Third Community Feast
A massive thank you to all the residents who attended our third community feast recently.
Our Aim: to create a number of regular community feasts across 2025 to bring our community together in Lockleaze, our home.
For this feast we partnered again with 91 Ways who prepared a delicious menu of dishes from their cookbook,which everyone enjoyed. The opportunity to try new foods is a great part of these events. To find out more about 91Ways click here.
This time you led the way, sharing your ideas for our community and how we can work together to make great things happen in Lockleaze.
We had five tables – Nature, Voice (campaigns) Lockleaze (ideas for Lockleaze) Food (with Jen) and Skills. You can read the amazing ideas everyone had here. There was a real buzz in the air, with a flurry of post its, as everyone moved around to contribute to each table and to talk to as many other residents as possible.
Having fun and making the most of our neighbourhood together is a big part of what Lockleaze Neighbourhood Trust do.
A special thank you to April Richmond, Engagement Worker from BCC who kindly gifted the table tennis kits for everyone who attended. If you missed out dont forget you can borrow bats and balls from the Hub if you fancy a game.
Our next community feast is part of the Lockleaze Climate and Nature Festival Saturday 21st June 2pm-5pm on Gainsborough Square.
