Value the caring economy - 2 events

The local elections are just around the corner now, and  Bristol Women’s Voice are leading the  Value the Caring Economy Campaign, calling for investment in childcare, social care, carers’ and care workers’ rights and better support for those who may need to be cared for. They invite you to two events:

  • Value the Caring Economy Community Campaign Meeting: 11:00am - 13:30pm Wednesday 17 April at Sparks (upstairs), Broadmead, 78 Broadmead, Bristol BS1 3DS. Come and take part in conversations, connections, community-building and campaigning for change so that caring and carers are valued. Creche and light lunch provided, book as you register.  Register here. We will reimburse travel and parking. Alternatively, if you have mobility difficulties that prevent you walking from a car park, we can fund a taxi. For travel support contact: info@bristolwomensvoice.org.uk

  • Lend your hand to the M32 Graffiti Wall: we are painting the M32 wall to raise awareness of our Value the Caring Economy campaign. We invite all supporters to drop by and add their handprint in support and solidarity any time between 10-12pm on Saturday, 20 April 2024. Bring friends, family and children - all are welcome! We can't promise you sunshine, but there'll be cake, sisterhood and togetherness. Also, if you have a few hours to spare on either the Friday 19 April or Saturday 20 April 2024 and would like to be involved in the painting, please email us on: info@bristolwomensvoice.org.uk
