the Lockleaze WILD MILE!

…..Create a wildflower patch, let your grass grow long, make a compost heap… make a log pile, feed the birds, plant a tree… Any area big or small can become a haven for wildlife and be part of the Lockleaze Wild Mile!

The Lockleaze Wile Mile campaign celebrates the actions for nature people are taking across the Ward of Lockleaze.

Everyone who signs up and shares what they are doing for nature in their garden, gets what they are doing for nature recorded on an anonymised online map, and a certificate to show that they are doing something for nature to put in their window!

Sign up to the Lockleaze Wild Mile

You just need to tell us what you are doing for nature in your growing space if you are a resident or organisation (you just need to have a growing space or garden in the Ward of Lockleaze).
(To get a free packet of wildflower seeds, go one step further, and fill out this longer questionnaire about your garden and its wildlife, or scan the QR code opposite)

Gardens make up a significant proportion of the urban environment. If everyone did their bit, big or small, for nature in their garden - the combined impact would be massively beneficial for nature, and way more effective than people working in isolation.

Wild Mile total! - XXX m2 area managed for nature!!!
