We are looking for a friendly receptionist to join our team at The Hub, Lockleaze.
The receptionist is a key role, as it is the first point of call for anyone who comes into the Hub or uses our services, and so a welcoming, patient nature and interest in people is absolutely essential.
We’re looking for someone with excellent customer service skills, who is motivated to find out what’s happening in the area and tell people about it, to enhance the sense of community we as an organisation exist to support. We’re a small, busy and dedicated team with a range of different areas to potentially get involved in. Someone self-motivated, values led and with good communication is essential.

We are looking for motivated staff to support the running of weekend events and parties in The Hub, Lockleaze. The right candidate will be patient, friendly and organised, someone who enjoys working with people, is interested in supporting their local community and wants to earn some extra money at the weekend.
The main aim of this role is to welcome and look after people who book our space, and ensure they have a positive experience for the duration of their booking. For some bookings, part of this role will mean facilitating the use of our bouncy castle or karaoke equipment for childrens parties, so a kind and patient attitude is needed!
We’re hoping for this role to grow as our events offer does, and there’s the potential for a more structured weekend reception role in the future.
Pay is £8.75 per hour on a zero hours contract.
