Local History Tea, Talk & Presentation

A massive thank you to everyone who attended this emotional event-a fantastic turn out with one person even travelling from London to be involved.

Gordon Young, former Lockleaze School pupil and Chair from Bristol Blue Plaque gave an engaging and inspirational talk and presentation about some of the plaques nearby and what we need to do next for the first one for Lockleaze.

Then we all watched highlights of A man Dies and shared the impact this had on individuals, Lockleaze and the wider community.

It was truly emotional to watch you all watching yourselves from 60 years ago.

You all shared your memories of Rev Ernest Marvin and the youth club and what it meant to you. reconnected and even had an informal  'Show and Tell' of memorabilia.

It really was a great event so thank you all for your support.

Lockleaze Neighbourhood Trust are proud to help you create more memories.
